Coaches are needed for all levels of play. If you are interested in a Manager or Coach position for any division, please fill out the Application and follow the instructions listed on that document. All managers and coaches must also fill out and turn in the Volunteer Application and pass a background check conducted by Northwst Leon Little League and Leon County Parks and Recreation (LCPR). See the handouts section for applications with blanks for on-line completion (you must still print the applications after completion, sign them, and bring them to registration).

All-Star Coaching Requirements

Coaches in player pitch divisions (minor league and above) wishing to coach an All Star tournament team must umpire at least six (6) games during the regular season. Contact the League Umpire-In-Chief for details and scheduling.

Applications for coaches and managers for the 2008 NWLLL All-Star teams are available. The deadline for the application is May 24th, 2008. The application may be turned in at the concession stand at Canopy Oaks Park or to any board member.

The 2008 All-Star season is rapidly approaching.  Team selections will be made on June 15 baseball and softball.  Games will start the last week of June and will continue into July or later.  We need to know which managers and coaches are interested in participating in All-Stars this year.  Please complete and turn in an
application or email the board with the following information:

1.  If you are interested in being an All-Star manager or coach
2.  Which level (Majors or Minors) you currently manage or coach
3.  The name of the team you currently manage or coach
4.  Which level(s) [ie. 9/10 softball, 11/12 baseball, etc] you are interested in managing or coaching.

The 2008 Tournament Section of the rule book details which managers and coaches are eligible for which divisions.  The Minor division managers and coaches are eligible to manage or coach the 9/10 or 10/11 teams.  The Major division managers and coaches are eligible to manage or coach the 9/10, 10/11, or 11/12 teams.

For questions, you may speak to a board member or call Tom Judd at 339-7960.
